The Buddy program has had several fantastic activities over the last month. Participants were able to get together at IMSS and put their art skills to work. People made posters, created paintings and played Wii...some all at once! This was a fantastic evening and we are hoping to do some more art days soon. Maybe even have an art lesson!
This past weekend buddy programmers went to Noah's Ark Adventureland petting zoo. Everyone had a great time. It was a little cold but we were able to warm up in the barn with some hot chocolates. Everybody got a chance to feed the animals and some even went for a horse ride. The cats and dogs were super friendly and the pigs couldn't get enough to eat! It was a great day and we will do another activity out there soon!
